Definitely A! Your work is beautiful and the piece will be absolutely gorgeous.

Esther

I'm going with A. Just does it for me, I guess. Thanks everyone for your help.

Carole Gumprich

Outstanding options. I like A with the red and the teal - red for vibrancy and teal for its calming influence. It depends on your personal perception and passion.

Chery

B. I don't know why, just looks better to me.

Belinda Fireman

I'm gonna go with A!!

But what mood are you going for? Bright, or subdued?

C gives maximum brightness.
A is quite lovely too in a a more subdued way. It seems more mature.

Another way of looking at it is the tones. If you were to look at these pictures in gray-scale, I believe that there would be more contrasts in C than in A. C would be better for doing fair isle work, but A would be more Kaffe-like.

At least that's my two cents worth.

PATTERNS by FISHYKISSKNITS

  • HRH KATE'S SHAWL
Inspired by the ruffled green shawl worn by HRH Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge shortly after her wedding, this pattern has 4 sizes, 3 version with different stitches and a wonderful suicide ruffle in either mock rib, or stocking stitch. $6.50 USD
  • WILLOW WISP SCARF
Delicate shawl/scarf, knitted in 2ply lace with crocheted ruffle in contrast colour. Beads add a lovely subtle touch and a bit of weight to keep this airy piece from flying away. Download available for $6.50USD.
  • FROST FLOWERS LACE COWL
My first published pattern. A generous cowl in one of my favorite lace patterns - soft and cuddly. Download for free.

  • SILK VEST
Single weight 2ply silk vest with 2 strand lace edging. Very drapy and so soft.
  • T-SHIRT TO MATCH LOTUS CARDIGAN
I'll use FSM from Sundara in a similar, but lighter colour that I trimmed the Lotus Cardigan with. Should work out fine, I just have to find the right pattern - needs to have a V neck or low square neck, and I think I'll try top-down construction for this. Never done that before.
