When dog meets yarn, watch out. Yesterday my granddog Jeddie visited me for my birthday. He is just adorable and had the run of the house. Well, that is until he peed in front of my son Nathan's door upstairs, so we decided to block off the stairs. Then he proceeded to get into ANY available disaster waiting to happen. Quickly all doors throughout the house were closed. Unfortunately, one was inadvertently left open. The one to our bedroom; the one with my knitting, my lace knitting, my 2 month project knitting which is nearly finished knitting. Here is what he created. Look at the mess and imagine my anguish. Look at his face and know that I couldn't get angry. Look at the result and know that many hours later, all was well again. Miraculously there were no holes in the knitting (other than the ones I created), and all the yarn unravelled fairly easily so that I could cake it up again.
