The last week has been VERY unproductive, knitwise. Although I guess I could say that a lot of options have been eliminated. The picture shows my final decision on what to do with my new set of Koigu PPPM. I love the colours, and the brown solid will bring everything together. I tried mitred squares. Didn't like the look for the body of this garment. So I decided to do the combo that I love the bests with this yarn - seed stitch and stocking stitch alternating colours. The only difference is that the striping will be vertical instead of horizontal like I did in my other sweater in Koigu.
During the convention in Vancouver, I did little knitting except on Nathan's socks - which you might recall have to be reknit. I am now at the heel of the first sock. (Not so much enthusiasm when something needs reknitting - wonder why that is?)
O and her new doll.
Z our little space cadet.
Z and her Ma.
And both O and Z with Nana.
All in all - a pretty great trip. I'll post more about the convention tomorrow.
